  • The Sons of The American Legion is offering a scholarship to any senior that has a minimum grade point average of 80 and a living relative who is a member in good standing of the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion or the American Legion Auxiliary or any seniors that are pre-enlisted into a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.   • The Syracuse Track Club is pleased to announce two $1000 scholarships to be awarded to deserving male and female high school seniors who participate on their school's track and field and/or cross-country teams. The scholarships continue to be given in memory of long-time Nottingham track and cross-country coach George Constantino, a founder of the Syracuse Track Club. Eligible students are those residing in Onondaga County, and the four adjoining counties - Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, and Oswego. STC membership is not required to apply for the scholarship. There is no application form. Each applicant should summit a letter describing his or her academic, extra-curricular and running achievements, financial need and plans to continue running beyond high school. Letters of recommendation from a teach and a coach are also requested. An official school transcript is NOT required. The application deadline is June 1st and awards are granted in early July.

  • National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association is offering three different scholarships. One at the State level of $250.00, One at the Sectional level of $1,500.00 and one at the National level of $2,500.00. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership and sportsmanship attributes of high school student-athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student's life. Applicant must be a senior, have a minimum of a B+ average, ranked in the top 25% of their class and must have participated in two sports for at least two years each where they earned a varsity letter for each.
