Local 669 is the largest local in the UA, primarily because they have jurisdiction in 48 states and have 4 primary districts in NY State, to months, an apprentice will get a pay increase of $2.00 per hour as long as they are keeping up with the demand.  At the 3 month mark, apprentices are enrolled in their Health and Welfare Benefit package, which is the Very best coverage in the country. At the 10 month mark, apprentices will be enrolled in their TWO Pension programs. Upon graduation, a Journey Worker will be paid around $37.00 before overtime.

Hosted by the Members of the House of Representatives, the CAC is a district-wide competition for middle and high school students, encouraging them to learn how to code by creating their own apps. Through this competition, Congress hopes to highlight the importance of programming, computer science and a STEM education in our students' minds. Regardless of a student's current expertise and understanding of coding, all are welcome and strongly encouraged to participate! As a reminder, students can register as individuals or as teams of up to four. Students are allowed to use any programming language, any platform, and there are no limits on the app theme or topic.
