Engineering Student Intern sought for a summer position with the Madison County Highway Department. Duties include research and analysis, drafting of policies and memorandums, and the performance of technical activities related to the department. Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Baccalaureate program at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university is required. Le Moyne College is offering students entering their junior or senior year of high school the opportunity to participate in their Summer Scholars Program. For more information please stop by the Guidance Office.

Madison County Children's Camp is looking for 14, 15 and 16 year old volunteer Counselors-in-Training to assist at the camp this summer. They will provide verification of 40 community service hours if needed. Please stop by the Guidance Office for an application and more information. The camp also has openings for paid summer staff positions for students that are at least 17 years old. Staff applications are due by May 1st and are available online at

The Cazenovia College Summer Experience will provide high school students with a wonderful opportunity to engage in college-level courses and earn three college credits. The program offers residential living and commuter options. The Leading for Change Summer Institute at Mercy College is geared towards students who have a passion for advocacy, education, and learning and have demonstrated social justice and leadership skills in their high school. Current Juniors with a passion for teaching, a cumulative, weighted, GPA above 90 and has demonstrated leadership and community service activities are encouraged to apply.
