Engineering Student Intern sought for a summer position with the Madison County Highway Department. Duties include research and analysis, drafting of policies and memorandums, and the performance of technical activities related to the department. Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Baccalaureate program at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university is required. Land surveying or engineering programs preferred. Hire Rate: $15.00/hr. Madison County Children's Camp is looking for 14, 15 and 16 year old volunteer Counselors-in-Training to assist at the camp this summer. They will provide verification of 40 community service hours if needed. Please stop by the Guidance Office for an application and more information. The camp also has openings for paid summer staff positions for students that are at least 17 years old. Camp Kesem is a camp that serves children ages 6-16 who have lost a parent to cancer, have a parent undergoing cancer treatment, or whose parent is a cancer survivor. The Cazenovia College Summer Experience will provide high school students with a wonderful opportunity to engage in college-level courses and earn three college credits. The program offers residential living and commuter options. The Leading for Change Summer Institute at Mercy College is geared towards students who have a passion for advocacy, education, and learning and have demonstrated social justice and leadership skills in their high school. Current Juniors with a passion for teaching, a cumulative, weighted, GPA above 90 and has demonstrated leadership and community service activities are encouraged to apply.
