Hello!

I am so excited to be a part of the Canastota High School Faculty! Even though I was born in Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!), I have lived in Canastota most of my life. After graduating from Canastota High School, I attended SUNY Brockport and received my Health Education certification. While working at a local restaurant and subbing in several districts, I received my master’s degree from Touro College in Students with Disabilities 7-12. As soon as I graduated from Touro College, I started working in the Career and Technical Education building at OCM BOCES as a Special Education Teacher. It has always been a dream, for me, to be able to come teach in the community and school I love; October 2017 that dream became a reality, as I was hired as a Special Education teacher in the High School!
I live in Canastota with my husband, 2 daughters (Winalynne and Ensley), 2 dogs (Phoebe and Opie) and cat (Zoey). In my free time I like to go camping, run, watch anything I can find on Netflix, and spend time with my family.
